On June 21, 14 people were released from Belarusian prisons, including Sergei Tikhanovskiy. In Vilnius, they were met by foundation staff, and the first safe place for them — as for many others before — was our shelter.
᠂ Legal and psychological support
᠂ Warm food and necessary medicines
᠂ Basic clothing and hygiene products
᠂ A safe place to rest and recover
᠂ Phone — to text loved ones: "I'm alive"
᠂ Book — to feel freedom after years of bans
᠂ Clothes — at least one clean t-shirt
᠂ Bed — for the first time in years with clean bedding and mattress
Our shelter is constantly occupied and needs monthly support.
Volunteers buy everything necessary from their own funds, but they are not unlimited. We need 500 euros per month for:
🧴 Household chemicals
Cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, cleaning products
🚿 Personal hygiene products
Toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoos, soap, feminine hygiene products
👕 Clothing and footwear
Basic clothing of all sizes, especially men's, shoes, underwear
🏠 Additional needs
Bed linen, towels, basic medications
Support is needed every day — not only at the moment of release.
Your help gives people who have gone through Belarusian prisons the opportunity to feel human again, restore their strength and start life anew in a free country.
᠂ Make a monetary transfer for shelter needs
᠂ Donate items (clothing, equipment, hygiene products)
᠂ Share information on social media
᠂ Become a regular donor — even 10-20 euros per month make a difference
Every euro goes to the specific needs of people who need support and care the most.
