"Krywiczy" is a unique two-week summer camp for Belarusian children in exile. We invite teenagers aged 10–16 from families of political prisoners, volunteers, and civil activists. This is a place for rest, recovery, support, and strengthening Belarusian identity.
The camp is organized in partnership between the "Krywiczy" Sports and Education Foundation, the Charitable Foundation "A Country to Live in," and the "A Country to Live in" civic movement, with support from the OGK Social Policy Representative Office.
📅 Dates: August 11–25, 2025
👥 Number of participants: 30 children
📍 Location: Safe location abroad (not disclosed publicly for security reasons)
"Many children found themselves in exile without friends, without their native language, without support. Often with only one parent, because the other is imprisoned. We wanted to create a space that would restore their confidence, purpose, and sense of community. The camp is an opportunity to recover, find support, and understand that they are not alone," — Vladimir Lavranyuk, "Krywiczy" project director
