The shelter of the "A Country to Live in" foundation in Vilnius operates daily and continuously. It becomes the first temporary home for those released from Belarusian prisons. Here people feel safe, get rest and the opportunity to recover from what they've experienced.
Moments of mass releases and deportations become a real challenge: the number of people in the shelter can increase several times over, and with it — expenses for the most essential items. That's why we especially need stable subscriptions — to plan ahead, be confident about tomorrow and provide more help to those who are just beginning their free life.
The first thing residents ask for when moving in are the simplest but vital necessities. Now you can support the shelter by choosing one of the "lots":

Books, notebooks, stationery — things that restore the feeling of normal life.
🧴 Hygiene and household needs — €25
Basic hygiene supplies: toothpaste, brushes, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, personal hygiene products.
👕 Clothing and shoes — €50
T-shirts, sweaters, underwear, socks, shoes.
📱 Phone for communication — €100
A basic smartphone so a person can call relatives, receive information and support.
